Stanadyne’s Jacksonville Operations Earns Two Safety Awards from The North Carolina Department of Labor

Stanadyne was presented with the Safety Gold Award and the Million Hours Award in recognition for exceptional employee safety performanceJacksonville, N.C. – November 8, 2021 – Stanadyne’s Jacksonville, North Carolina operations received two coveted manufacturing safety awards from the North Carolina Department of Labor during the 2021 Safety Awards Banquet held October 4, 2021 at the Jacksonville Onslow Chamber of Commerce. Stanadyne was presented with the Safety Gold Award and the Million Hours Award in recognition for exceptional employee safety performance.

“Employees are our most valuable asset and creating a safe working environment is one of our highest priorities,” said Stanadyne Jacksonville Plant Human Resources Manager Regina Parnell. “We are honored to have received these two safety awards.”

This is the second time Jacksonville has earned a Safety Gold Award, which is based on the total number of employee days away from work. The Million Hours Award is given to firms accumulating 1 million employee hours with no injuries or illnesses involving days away from work.

Stanadyne’s Jacksonville location employs nearly 200 people, is part of the company’s Americas Business Unit, and is home to its Gas Advanced Engineering Center of Excellence. It encompasses approximately 127,000 square feet of gasoline systems research and development, assembly, production, and test automation space.
