Jacksonville, North Carolina – December 8, 2023 – Stanadyne, a leading global fuel and air management systems supplier, is expanding its performance and specialty product portfolio with the launch of its patented Goliath 350-bar gasoline direct injection (GDI) performance fuel injector. The new injector provides the highest fuel delivery pressure and flow available in the aftermarket to specialty, tuning, and racing vehicle retailers and distributors. It is designed to complement Stanadyne’s new Goliath high-flow, 12 mm bore, 350-bar performance gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel pump as a system or operate as a separate component. The company announced the new performance product today at the 2023 PRI Show in Indianapolis.
“Our performance industry partners have been asking for a robust, drop-in GDI fuel injector option that can handle pressure of more than 300 bar,” said Stanadyne Global Vice President of Product Engineering Michael Hornby. “So, we applied our high-pressure fuel injection expertise to develop an aftermarket injector to partner with our new Goliath GDI performance pump.”
The Stanadyne Goliath 350-bar GDI performance fuel injector is a high-quality, modular solution addressing the fuel pressure limiting factors of stock injectors when trying to increase the power output of GDI engines. It is purposefully engineered for specialty and performance engine enhancement. Its modular design and connection-ready inlet fuel line fittings make installation safer and easier for both professional and amateur tuners.
The Goliath injector can deliver fuel injection pressure up to 350 on select gasoline direct-injected engines and increase flow by approximately 65 to 70 percent compared to OEM injectors. The new injector:
- Fits in existing engine cylinder architecture.
- Features a unique orifice design with highly engineered spray patterns for precise fuel delivery.
- Efficient magnetic design allows for excellent ballistic control magnetic feedback.
- Meets current performance standards with higher flow.
