Dr. John A. Pinson Chief Executive Officer

Dr. John A. Pinson
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Pinson was elected Chief Executive Officer in June 2022 and is responsible for the company’s global operations. Prior to his appointment, he served more than a decade with Stanadyne, first as CTO and later as President.
Dr. Pinson has more than 30 years of experience in global emission compliance strategy and fuel injection system design. He began his career at General Motors with assignments in Powertrain and in Research and Development, focused on emission reduction technology. Following his time at GM, he was Vice President, Diesel and Large Engines, at Ricardo Inc., a powertrain consulting company.
Dr. Pinson holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State, a master’s degree from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Costas Loukellis Vice President

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Costas Loukellis joined Stanadyne in 2019 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Loukellis has an extensive financial manufacturing background, most recently serving as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies (UTC) where he spent 38 years prior to retiring in January 2019.
Loukellis served in a number of global financial executive roles during his career at UTC including Vice President, Operations Finance and CFO of Aerospace Power Systems, both at Hamilton Sundstrand, and Operations Finance Director at Carrier.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Western New England University.

Dr. Bradlee J. Stroia
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Stroia, named Stanadyne’s Chief Technology Officer in June 2019, was formerly the company’s Director of Advanced Engineering.
Dr. Stroia joined Stanadyne in August 2016 as the advanced engineering leader for diesel products after nearly three decades in the propulsion industry. Most recently, he was with Cummins Inc., for 26 years, in positions of increasing responsibility within the Fuel Systems and Aftertreatment organizations, eventually becoming the director of advanced fuel system technology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Stroia has received several honors for his work, including the 2009 “American Chemical Society National Award for Team Innovation” for developing the first commercial NOx adsorber emission control system for heavy–duty diesel engines.

President of Gasoline Products & Managing Director, Americas
Mr. Zimmerman is Stanadyne’s President of Gasoline Products. He also serves as the company’s Managing Director of the Americas, responsible for North and South American operational and financial performance and developing regional OE and aftermarket sales growth strategies.
Prior to Stanadyne, Mr. Zimmerman was Global Sales Director at Continental Automotive, where he represented six business units with manufacturing touchpoints on six continents. Previously, Mr. Zimmerman worked for Lear Corporation as a test engineer before taking on roles of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming Resident Engineer at BorgWarner. He then transitioned to a sales role as the lead account manager for fuel systems and powertrain.
Throughout his career, Mr. Zimmerman has led an expansion of powertrain products into new and existing markets, ensuring compliance with emission regulations, while staying attuned to the voice of the customer to deliver high-performance automotive products.
Mr. Zimmerman holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Western Michigan University.

Ed Flanagan
Director of Global Business Development and Sales
Ed Flanagan is the Director of Global Business Development and Sales for Stanadyne. He is responsible for the company’s global sales and business strategies, key customer relationships, and marketing outreach. He is focused on Stanadyne’s healthy growth, serving its large global customers, and development opportunities spanning multiple regions.
Flanagan is a seasoned management executive with more than 20 years of OEM and aftermarket sales experience, which includes international business sales, marketing, costing, project management, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Stanadyne, he served in business development leadership roles at international Tier 1 suppliers, such as Keihin North America and Calsonic Kansei. During his career, he has managed sales and customer service teams located throughout the Midwest, Mexico, and Brazil and developed commercial relationships with Honda, Subaru, Mazda, GM, and Isuzu, among others.
He has a bachelor’s in Business, Marketing from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, as well as other industry management accreditations from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

As the Managing Director for Stanadyne’s Near East operations, Mr. Chadda, who has worked at major automotive component manufacturing companies in India, Europe and the United States, is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Chennai facility.
Prior to joining Stanadyne, Mr. Chadda served as President at Allied Nippon, Business Lead at Mindia Huf, Engineering Lead at Sumitomo Motherson and General Manager at Gabriel India. He was also President at RSB North America in Michigan, CEO at RSB Mexico and Director at MSI Belgium. Mr. Chadda is the former Vice Chairman, Technical of the SAE India Chapter and has been a member of the manufacturing committee for the Confederation of India Industry and ACMA.
Mr. Chadda has been trained in lean manufacturing and total quality management at the Japan Institute of Quality. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Sam Walton Business School at the University of Arkansas as well as an MS in Investment Banking from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Zhu, who is responsible for Stanadyne operations, sales & marketing, engineering and business strategy in Far East region, came to Stanadyne in March 2014.
Prior to joining the company, he served as General Manager, Fehrer Automotive Co., LTD and General Manager, Beijing Tianhai Westport Company. He was also the Technical & Commercial Affairs Manager - China for Engelhard Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Zhu has 25 years of automotive and related business and manufacturing experience, including facility, program and project start-up and launch. He holds an MBA from Richard Ivey Business School of University of Western Ontario.

Guido Terzi
Managing Director, EMEA & Global Quality Director
As Managing Director of Stanadyne EMEA (SpA), Mr. Terzi is responsible for Stanadyne's global operations in Italy and the rest of EMEA region. He was appointed to the position in 2012.
Mr. Terzi joined Stanadyne Italy in 1997, serving as Quality Manager and then as Engineering Manager. In these positions, he played a critical role in implementing the QS9000 and ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System, and then in developing many engine applications using Stanadyne’s patented RSN mechanical injectors. He was ultimately promoted to Plant Manager in 2006.
Prior to joining Stanadyne, Mr. Terzi worked for ST Micro-electronics as a Quality & Reliability engineer.
Mr. Terzi holds an MBS in Physics and an MBS and Material Science, both from the University of Milan-Italy.

Jeff Blake
Managing Director, PurePower Technologies
Jeff Blake is the Managing Director of PurePower Technologies, a Stanadyne company, located in Bythewood, South Carolina. He oversees the development of PurePower’s original equipment and aftermarket growth strategies aimed at expanding its global remanufacturing product footprint and new diesel original equipment product lines.
Blake is a global automotive and commercial vehicle business executive with more than 22 years of experience selling highly engineered products and services to OEMs and into the Aftermarket. He began his career in the heavy duty and commercial vehicle market with Daimler Trucks North America (formerly Detroit Diesel) in performance and emissions engineering. He then spent nearly 12 years with BorgWarner, where he led OEM and remanufacturing sales and marketing for turbos as the company’s global director of its Turbocharger and Electric Actuators business. Blake expanded his aftermarket expertise when he joined Axalta in 2014 to lead its automotive aftermarket paint business servicing paint/collision shops and OEM-owned retail repair shops.
Prior to joining Stanadyne, he was president and general manager of his family’s company, JBMbio, a world leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable microbial products. He earned a bachelor’s in Heavy Equipment Engineering Technology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and has a certificate in Internal Combustion Engine Practical Theories from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
