Stanadyne Hires Rajat Dhara as Global Chief Engineer, Supporting Continued Focus on Worldwide Product Expansion

Dhara, with more than two decades of fuel systems experience, to lead Stanadyne’s global engineering and New Business Technical Solutions Group

Stanadyne, a global fuel injection systems developer based in Windsor, Connecticut, has hired Rajat Dhara as Global Chief Engineer of Diesel and Gasoline Systems. Dhara, with 23 years of experience designing and creating commercial and automotive engine technologies for multiple large multinational companies, is part of recent strategic hires of industry engineering executives by Stanadyne, including new VP of Global Engineering, Titus Iwaszkiewicz.

Dhara’s Career Highlights:

  • Led commercial powertrain development for Mahindra & Mahindra.
  • Managed program management and product development for Mahindra Navistar Engines Pvt. Ltd.
  • Managed engineering development of EPA and Euro emissions compliant engines for Navistar’s portfolio of 3.0L to 15L diesel engines.
  • Managed and developed the full line of Cummins C-series Tier-2 off-highway products.

Rajat will lead New Business Technology Solutions, a cross-functional team of the company’s global engineering, manufacturing and commercial groups that focuses on bringing new technology to market. “NBTS is a vital part of our product development cycle, connecting the technical and commercial sides of the business and driving activities to meet future customer expectations,” says Iwaszkiewicz.

Dhara will be based at Stanadyne’s world headquarters in Windsor, Connecticut. As part of his leadership role, Dhara will focus on the development and execution of the company’s gasoline and diesel technology roadmaps as well as the delivery of customized solutions to customers and the industry.
