CTO Dr. Brad StroiaStanadyne CTO Dr. Brad Stroia shares his passion for people and his work

National Volunteer Week, held April 18-24, is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities, and be a force that transforms the world. One Stanadyne team member that exemplifies this, as well as the company’s strategic vision of improving the communities in which we live, work, and serve, is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dr. Brad Stroia.

A Passion for Transforming the World

While his professional life is filled with engineering projects and patents, Dr. Stroia’s personal passion is focused on people. He has an innate ability to see how to continuously improve the world and tirelessly pursues making it better.

“As an engineer, I’ve always had a passion for fixing what is broken,” said Dr. Stroia. “I seem to have an intuitive ability to see the problem and work hard to find a solution.”

Dr. StroiaEarly Inspiration

At any early age, Dr. Stroia’s grandfather asked him the question – What are you going to do to change the world?

“My grandfather was my role model,” said Dr. Stroia. “He had a passion for people that drove him to do amazing things for others. He always fought for equity, empowerment and education.”

Beyond encouraging his engineering ability and supporting his education, Dr. Stroia’s grandfather challenged him to constantly consider what he could to do make life better for all humanity. Today, Dr. Stroia continues to follow his grandfather’s teachings and in his footsteps. His passion to help has impacted countless people and organizations throughout his professional and personal networks.

His desire for the future of Stanadyne is to grow opportunities for employees to get involved and make a difference.

“I believe in getting boots on the ground.” said Dr. Stroia. “When you give of yourself without expecting anything else in return, it changes lives…mainly, yours.”

Stanadyne thanks Dr. Stroia for his commitment to improving the communities where we live, work, and serve. He truly embraces making National Volunteer Week every week in his personal and professional lives.
