Solenoid Controlled Diesel Fuel Injection Pumps
MODEL DS ELECTRONIC PUMP
In 1993, Stanadyne introduced its Model DS electronic fuel injection pump. This precision built pump was designed for GM's 6.5L V-8 diesel engines used in both Chevrolet and GMC light trucks. It was the first full authority electronic pump on the market and this pump controls exact fuel quantity and start of injection timing, providing improved performance, fuel economy and emissions benefits over similar mechanical pumps.
Stanadyne Introduces New DS Pump Models for Service
Two new DS service pump models were recently introduced. These new service pump models include our new Pump Mounted Driver (PMD) that incorporates a number of new features for added durability and reliability. In addition to the new Pump Mounted Driver, these new service pump models also contain low friction components in the fuel control section of the pump. These new DS service pump models are only available from Stanadyne authorized service dealers. Click here to find a dealer near you.
