Jacksonville, North Carolina – October 24, 2022 – Stanadyne, a leading global fuel and air management systems supplier, has appointed David “Brad” Vinson as the Plant Manager of its Jacksonville, North Carolina facility. The facility encompasses 107,000 square feet of production space, employs nearly 200 people, and is home to the company’s Gas Advanced Engineering Center of Excellence.
“Brad has been a part of the Stanadyne team since hiring in as a Global Advanced Quality Engineer in 2018,” said Stanadyne President, Gas Products, David Zimmerman. “His deep knowledge of our plant, our people, and our products will position our company as a preferred manufacturing partner for original equipment, replacement, and high-performance gasoline fuel delivery systems.”
Vinson has more than 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in production, quality, and engineering. Prior to his promotion, Vinson served as the Director of Operations and Quality for the Jacksonville facility. Prior to joining Stanadyne, he was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Chatsworth Products in New Bern, North Carolina. Over his career, he has gathered extensive manufacturing and production experience from his roles as Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisor, and EH&S Coordinator for SPX Corporation, Assistant Plant Manager for Boral, and Production Manager for ACCO Brands.
Vinson earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kennedy Western University. In addition, he holds a Six Sigma Black Belt, Shainin Red X Apprentice and Journeyman certification. He enjoys spending time with his family, boating, golfing, and Alabama football.
