Windsor, Connecticut – January 7, 2022 – Stanadyne, a leading global fuel and air management systems supplier, has appointed Alaina Mazzola Director of Supply Chain Americas. She will be located at the company’s Southfield Research and Customer Service Center in Southfield, Michigan and will focus on the development and alignment of a strategic supply base that supports current and future business needs in North and South America.
“Alaina has more than a decade of results-driven and detail-oriented global purchasing expertise,” said Stanadyne President, Gasoline Products, and Managing Director, the Americas, David Zimmerman. “She brings both Tier 1 supplier and OEM supply chain, commodity, and segment management experience to the position.”
Before joining Stanadyne, Mazzola was the Director of Supply Chain at Dura Automotive in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where her team was responsible for material planning and logistics. Prior to Dura, she was the Global Lead Trim Buyer at Lear Corporation in Southfield where she managed purchasing for multiple commodities. Before joining Lear, Mazzola was part of General Motors’ Global Purchasing and Supply Chain team.
Alaina Mazzola earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in General Business from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business in Kalamazoo, Michigan. While at Western Michigan University, she was a commissioned officer in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. She holds a master’s in Lean Manufacturing from Kettering University’s GM Technical Education Program. She also completed the United States Army Military Police Officer Leadership Course.
Mazzola is a reserve officer with the Lake Orion Police Department and a board member of the Michigan Army National Guard Family Readiness Group.
