Dr. Bradlee Stroia Promoted To Chief Technology Officer At Stanadyne

Following the recent acquisition of PurePower Technologies, Dr. Bradlee Stroia has been appointed to lead the company’s technology advancements in air and fuel management systems across the globe

Windsor, Conn. (June 11, 2019) – Stanadyne, a global fuel and air management systems supplier based in Connecticut, announced today that Dr. Bradlee Stroia has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Stroia, formerly the company’s Director of Advanced Engineeringaccepted this new assignment shortly after Stanadyne’s acquisition of South Carolinabased Pure Power Technologies, Inc. in April.

Dr. Stroia joined Stanadyne in August 2016 as the advanced engineering leader for diesel products after nearly three decades in the propulsion industry. Most recently, he was with Cummins Inc., for 26 years, in positions of increasing responsibility within the Fuel Systems and Aftertreatment organizations, eventually becoming the director of advanced fuel system technology.   

Throughout his career, Dr. Stroia has received several honors for his work, including the 2009 American Chemical Society National Award for Team Innovation for developing the first commercial NOx adsorber emission control system for heavyduty diesel engines. The project allowed engine manufacturer Cummins to meet emissions goals three years ahead of schedule.
