What is your role\/responsibility with the company?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Catrina<\/em>: Ich bin stolz darauf, dass ich in den letzten 20 Jahren in einem von M\u00e4nnern dominierten Bereich als Produktionstechniker gearbeitet habe. Ich habe so viel \u00fcber Pneumatik, mechanische und elektrische Ger\u00e4te gelernt.<\/p>\n

Catrina<\/em>: Ich habe mit Mitte 40 noch einmal studiert, um meinen Bachelor-Abschluss in Management zu machen.<\/p>\n

Valeria<\/em>: Das Privileg, an die Zukunft zu denken und ein gl\u00fcckliches Leben aufzubauen, ist meine wichtigste pers\u00f6nliche Errungenschaft. Ohne Gelassenheit und berufliche Stabilit\u00e4t w\u00e4re das nicht m\u00f6glich gewesen.<\/p>\n

Was hat Sie dazu veranlasst, eine Karriere in einem Automobil-\/Produktionsunternehmen anzustreben?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Catrina<\/em>: Meine erste Vollzeitstelle nach dem College war in einem Unternehmen, das Kunststoffspritzguss f\u00fcr Autos herstellte. Im College wurde uns beigebracht, dass die Bereiche Medizin und Automobil die meisten Besch\u00e4ftigungsm\u00f6glichkeiten bieten. Das erste Unternehmen, f\u00fcr das ich arbeitete, bestand schon seit Jahren und ebnete mir den Weg f\u00fcr mein Wissen \u00fcber Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle, Kundendienst und Flie\u00dfbandfertigung.<\/p>\n

Valeria<\/em>: Die eigentliche Frage ist nicht \"Was hat mich dazu gebracht, eine Laufbahn in einem Automobil-\/Herstellungsunternehmen einzuschlagen?\", sondern \"Warum nicht?\". Ich habe die Karrierem\u00f6glichkeit, die sich mir bot, mit Begeisterung und Neugierde angenommen - auch wenn sie weit weg von \"meiner Welt\" zu sein schien (ich habe Geisteswissenschaften studiert und bin ehrenamtliche Museumsf\u00fchrerin).<\/p>\n

Catrina<\/em>: Mein Rat an andere Frauen w\u00e4re, sich nicht zu scheuen, aus der eigenen Komfortzone herauszutreten. Wenn es ein Arbeitsfeld gibt, das Ihr Interesse weckt, recherchieren Sie, besuchen Sie die erforderlichen Kurse oder Schulungen und versuchen Sie es.<\/p>\n
